Vella -stop sending me spam!

I'm so sorry, that was from me. Vella is the 'sleeping partner'. We use her name when we send mail because I'd be deleted as porn. :eek:

I'm sorry, but my priority is porn, I get more desperate for hot sex than I do for pretty art images. I'm wired that way. ;)

I hear ya, and i'll give that vella a good talking to when she gets here ;) It's not fair leaving all the hard work to you.
 
Um... I highly doubt vella is behind your spam problem, EL.

Am I missing something?

If this is a serious thread, and I kind of hope it's not because PM would have likely been the best way to handle it, vella's email addy has been heisted several times. It's taken a lot of grief and hassle between her and the ISP in order to get all the mass spam to stop and restore her email to its usual state. So, in the event anyone gets mail from vella and it happens to be spam, rest assured she didn't stay up all night singling you out to make a buck.

That's one reason I don't use Outlook! Damn email virusus can get you address book and start sending spam to them as you. Outlook sucks.

But, the company I work for is insistant that we switch over to it by 2007 sometime. Why, I don't know! I have looked at it and not found it very useful.

i hear ya zeb. i dont use outlook either and prefer to scan each and every email i do send. however, even in my hyper sensitive state, last year, my email was stolen and i was getting hundreds of returned email ...it made me very upset and i worked with yahoo to fix it. however, if EL, whom i dont email but very rarely is getting spam from that addy...then its time to close the account.

and EL, sweetie...if you ever ever have a problem with me, i invite you to speak with me through pm or im to straighten out the mess because this thread really has me upset... its sad that you think i would intentionally spam anyone here on the AH. you guys are my family and i dont 'do' spam.

:rose: I think she was just trying to handle it lightly and with humor, and -not- upset you. I know the idea of an upset Vella would have most of the AH up in arms and starting a lynch mob. *hugs* Feel better sweets,

im sure the intent was not to upset...but even in jest it did hit a sore spot simply because i have had such a huge fight to clean up a mess i had NO control over.
so, that being said, a pm would have been a more appropriate venue. since i now feel people might view me in a different light.
most people who know me know that i find humor in 90% of things that happen...this just happen to fall in the 10th percentile.
 
No worries, vella and luckster. Prolly just a namesake, which made the EL larf.

Hell, I've even gotten spam from myself (according to the reply adress) a few times. So nothing suprises me.



But I must admin I'm a little jealous now.

I want a logo too, dammit.

Or Logophile, if she's not busy.
