I was slightly stunned, and baffled, by this fairy ring of mushrooms that popped up in my neighbor’s yard, seemingly overnight!

I was tempted to hop the fence and see if I would get whisked away but scaling a 6ft fence is daunting when you’re only 5’3!!!

My first one is from the other day. Had a wild and heavy rain storm, but no lightning. Went outside and just stood there. Completely soaked (actually a little cold), but I could feel the tension of the week melt off of me and I started breathing easier and felt happier. I'm not usually one for nature. I'm usually more of an indoor cat. That said, one of my greatest joys was when we used to go camping with my college friends at Assateague Island, where they have the wild ponies (near Chincoteague). They were magical to see the first time. After that, though, you realize that ponies are kind of giant assholes who will happily knock your campsite over if they think there's any food to be found. Still a good time, though.

It has been my dream to go there ever since I first read about Misty as a little girl. This is amazing!

I love Assateague! We used to go to Ocean City almost every year and always took a day to go to the national park at Assateague.

I live in the mountains and way out in the country and I consider everything around me as very close to paradise. One little corner of my back pasture is completely shaded by tall old oaks and I've always wanted to get naked back there. I had hoped the first time would have been on a blanket with a lover. But I suppose a picture for this thread will have to do for now.
