R and V. I am so glad you are back!! When they were saying you were gone I said you were back. I understand how rl gets too consuming. I am very glad you are both doing so well. You are by far one of my favorites!! I may not coment all the time but I do really enjoy your comments and pictures. No, we haven't disappeared into the ether or anywhere else. Apologies for the lack of communication but this year has not allowed much time for the finer things in life such as, taking photos and sharing them. In fact, apart from the random photo taken when out and about, I've really not captured anything else.
One reason I guess, for not posting, is the lack of new 'material'. We have literally thousands of photos, but most of them have been posted and, as they have been duplicated on many other sites (by other people) over the years, they can't be considered as fresh and interesting. "We've seen these before" springs to mind.
Vanessa and I have been doing this quite a long time. It's only natural the impetus slows.........and I guess we ain't gettin' any younger either!
However, the time might be upon us in the not too distance future, to take it up again; maybe try a more casual/candid style.
Anyhow, thank you all so much for your continued interest and support. I thought the thread would have dropped of ages ago but no, you've certainly kept it alive.

Fully understand the slowing down of picture production. We, or at least I have many fond memories.
I have been bumping into pictures of V posted elsewhere and adding notes/comments on who it is when it is obvious the original poster is not aware.

Am going to experiment a little with the display of pics. Bit rusty, but will make it up as I go along.
Most of the pics I will load up off site and link to Lit. It is very frustrating when the photos have to be continually reduced in size and quality to be loaded up here.....it's just as quick (and more satisfying) to load them up elsewhere and link them.
