Victoria had an outbreak a few months ago, however, the Premier of the state imposed a strict lock-down and all seems to be getting back to everyday life there. No new cases.

Until a vaccine (that works) is introduced into circulation, it's a bug we just have to learn to manage until it runs its course.

Hej Dane ... many thanks for that, and yes I did have blond hair for a short while. When I look back on the photos of it I don't think it really suited me. Well spotted though, considering that it is a black and white photo. Hope life in Copenhagen has not been too disrupted.

Hello and welcome back, so pleased to hear you are both well. I guess in a country as big as Australia keeping your distance is relatively easy and thus makes controlling local outbreaks easier, whereas for us in tiny, crowded England getting control is proving difficult and very damaging to the economy and mental health of the population. Some would say we Brits are boarder line at the best of times. But hey the light is back and we have some pictures of the lovely Vanessa to view and enjoy, so my world is definitely on the up. I love the spiral staircase shot, hope there is more to that set, which hopefully you could post one day. Just seems like the perfect setting for a photo shoot.

Hi Binns. Yes, our cities are crowded, but the countryside is mostly sparsely populated, so the virus would have a difficult time spreading here. We were also fortunate in Australia to get more warning than most countries and could shut our borders before too many cases arrived. Hope things look up for you soon, and thank you as always for your compliments. I don't think we took many photos on the staircase because we were staying at a relative's house, but I'll mention it to Richard.

So happy to see you are both fit & well, V & R!

We can only hope there is better news for everybody after the Christmas period and the world can get back on its axis!

Hopefully, we've all learned a few manners, engendered more respect and will have a bit more patience going forward!

Hi Canadian. Yes, I saw that the Canadian numbers were rising rapidly. It's such a contagious virus making it so difficult to contain in densely populated areas. But yes, it can be contained if people are determined enough.
