These pics were taken a little while ago. It is an area within the Gibralter Range NP between Grafton and Glen Innes, in the northern tablelands of NSW.

The photos showing the hut and a body of water were part of an early hydro power project (very small) to power a mill, I think it was, way down in the valley.

The hut was accommodation for the people building the whole thing. No such thing as Health and Safety then!

È piacevole vedere le foto dei luoghi che frequentate e Vanessa con la sua bellezza li valorizza,poi osservo le ultime due foto wow il viso di Vanessa cambia espressione e sembra pronunciare , non fermarti spingi più forte !!. Looks a bit rough to walk in and quite beautiful, the hut although old is in good shape, is that area preserved? Always enjoy your photos of the wild, and the last two added a bit of spice.

These photos were taken way back in 2008; seems so long ago now. They were originally posted on VW and, as I recall, won a monetary prize that month. Many contributions we submitted around that time did very well.....we managed to buy much photographic equipment courtesy of the winnings. We put it to good use.

This set, which was titled Old Mountain Hut, is familiar to us, even now, because of a comment left at the time which went something like: "You got the title wrong, it should read Old Mountain Slut"
