Many thanks everyone. I was just looking at SP to load up the next album and I noticed there had been over four thousand views of the Canberra album. I was taken aback; maybe the vid had a bit to do with it but it doesn't indicate that. Guess there are a big number of followers on SP itself, as it's a public album. Didn't think it would be of any interest at all.....except to a few. Could've been a mistake.

We read all the comments on SP but don't always get to reply to them. Apologies, sometimes it's just not possible.....and it's such a cumbersome process. But all are read, thank you.

Have loaded up pics from our recent trip to Canberra on SP. I got rid of a few duds but what have been loaded up are pretty much straight off the camera. The link won't be of interest to everyone but no doubt some folks will have a good squizz.

The photos are fairly chronological........from the first to the last. I haven't fussed with them....just "stuck 'em in".

The trip was not a relaxed tour....it was a travel trip to Canberra, and back. We were limited in what we could spend time looking at and photographing. In the not too distant future we plan to travel to Victoria, and that will be a touring holiday. Somewhat more relaxed.

Most of the photos in colour are Vanessa's.

I can't remember which corset we used recently Binns, but the one in that set was an olive-green colour, and I think we've only ever photographed it that once. Richard will know. Regardless, I enjoyed your comparison .... a great compliment. x

My uncle had a Morris like that one, it was a ute. He'd load it up with hay bales and we'd head out into the paddocks to feed stock on his property at Canowindra (NSW). He'd get in the back, feed out the bales and I would "drive".......all of about eight or nine; could barely see over the wheel. Some of the best times in my life. Learnt to drive properly by the time I was fourteen or so.

Yes it was Pol. It was an early Peter Weir film....maybe his first. I remember hearing about it when I was in my late teens. Have never seen it. I've not looked at the link you've included but will directly.
