Thanks Alex, yes there is just something about pure monochrome pics. Because the sensor captures black and white only, there is far more detail captured as well.

Great collection of pix in the park. Are they sequoia trees? I love these majestic, silent sentinels that often live for more than 1,000 years. We are only beginning to find out how trees work together in harmony in nature.
When the woes of the world become overwhelming, with wars, corruption and woke politics filling the airwaves, I cleanse my mind by walking in nature. Would love to bump into you two on one of my strolls!

Thanks MN, the two trees that feature in the photos (mainly) are London Planes and the tall one...a Cottonwood.

I know these are not full quality but again it shows a great amount of detail especially in the bark of the trees. Hello Pol, even on SP the quality is not the same as the original, but much better than Lit. Only so much I can do I guess. Might try loading pics to SP as Tiff. files and see if they're any better.

Photography is infectious; just capturing that moment in time, that will never come again. It also allows the photographer to do whatever he/she wants to do with what they've captured.....share it, alter it etc.

NB: I just loaded up a Tiff version of one of the pics in SP...........the difference is amazing.

In a word, beautiful. The pics are amazing Richard.

Hi Amiche, no, there are no spread shots amongst that set. We just don't do them. We've done many many "casual" leg apart shots but that's about it. There's nothing wrong with full on/nothing left to the imagination type pics.....the net is awash with them. The trick, for me at least, is to do close up type photos, as tastefully as possible, leaving a little bit to the imagination.
