Vanessa 2

Among many other things that are going on for us at the moment, I found time yesterday, to order a Pentax digital SLR Monochrome camera; that is, it takes only monochrome photos.......stunning photos! The examples I've seen that is.

Will be more 'talkative' in the next few days but, for now........................

Don't imagine this will be taken down. Snapped it in our yard the other day.......

What is it about a monochrome only camera that makes it better than digital effects? I obviously have little experience with quality photography so excuse the simplistic question.

Can't leave without comment on the delightful link attached here. 🥵
Love seeing Vanessa. And finding her like this looking out my window is actually the dream come to life....🤞🤞
Hot as the sun.

Hot as the sun.

As I understand it (and I still have a lot of understanding to go) a monochrome specific camera captures far more detail, has greater dynamic range between light and shadow and photos can be taken at ISO 100 to 105,000; however it will apparently go to ISO 1,600,000 automatically if required but anything over 100,000 will start to deteriorate. Pics can almost be taken in the dark! Guess I'll find out when I actually get around to using it properly. Post processing can only take a stab at what a true monochrome shot would look like, I'm guessing.

It has a monochrome only sensor of around 26 MP. The difference is that it doesn't have another RGB (red, green blue) layer to the on top of it to complicate everything...it just captures pure light and shade and extraordinary detail. There are some very good vids on Youtube explaining the difference.

I'm totally seeing how much you froth on the specs 🤗
That's awesome. I love hearing the details in people's interests.
Seeing great photography is always fantastic too. And that's in general not just nudity(I'm loving the nudity btw) hahaha

Well you've whet my appetite to see what magic you can capture with the new camera.
I'm looking forward to it.
Cheers

Mange tak Dane ... and it occurs to me that Denmark would be a great backdrop for black and white photography with all those beautiful stately city buildings and the country estates. We'll have to find other subject matter here .... :)
I’m sure that would be a great match and the wonderful contours of your body would bring new life to our buildings and estates and give a lot of pleasure to your viewers. And the season we go int now could need to be spiced up a bit here in Denmark, so it sounds like a great idea!! On the other hand I am sure you will find very suitable places in Australia too and your track record so far confirms this, so no need to change a winning concept as long as the model is as beautiful and captivating as you and the photographer is as skilful and full of ideas as Richard. Keep up the good work!😀👏👏❤️

Make us enjoy ourselves like fifteen-year-olds on their first sexual experience. Come back, Vanessa, I need you, your nipples, your pussy, I want you to enter my mind again. Hello, beautiful, I'm waiting for you. xxxx(o)xx~~~ Amiche

This (above), as well as a few other things, is what has been taking up a lot of our time. Pentax K3 111 Monochrome.

For years, well, ever since we started our little hobby of photography, I've been acquiring cameras which have steadily improved year on year, to the latest few I've bought. Throughout, I've become familiar enough with each one to understand its basic operation.......taking the photos was more important and more urgent. However, I would now like to increase my understanding of each camera I still use....probably five or so....to get the best out of them. It ain't easy🥵. Each one is like a different model computer with a different operating system. The same principles of photography apply to all, but their interpretation of what I see and want through the viewfinder, varies somewhat!

The monochrome above is a case in point. A black and white camera only, how hard can it be? Well,it has to be the high water mark of learning something new!😣 Everything is different! Even the graphics are all grey and muted...there's not a bit of colour to be found anywhere. The thing is, Pentax must assume anyone who buys this type of camera knows all about it and how to use it i.e. a professional photographer etc, well, they didn't have me in mind when they built it🙄. Nothing is intuitive. It has a modest manual for settings and all the usual stuff, however, it just assumes you know where everything is and what it does.

Anyhow, it will all come together, it will just take a little time.

Below are a few shots of other gear I use and will be hoping to become more familiar with.

IMG_1025.jpegIMG_1026.jpegIMG_1021.jpeg

Have included a few first attempts, nothing spectacular, but will hopefully give a taste of what might be....soon with any luck.☺️

Hi Richard,
Wow - that is some camera collection!!
Great shots whilst you are getting the hang of the new camera. Was wondering if some of the distance shots were “hand held” or using a tripod?
Looking forward to you trying out the telephoto. Your model is always sensational from all angles and distances!! 😁😉

Ah, lovely to see you back R and V.
R, try YouTube, there is usually some tech wizard more than happy to share their knowledge on a particular gadget, some in great detail. And as far as im concerned, you are getting the best out of your cameras already with such a stunning model.
V, gorgeous as always, I hope your butt didn't hurt too much after fencesitting

Love monochrome. Makes things look timeless. Beautiful shots. Where were they taken? The garden? Driving past & seeing V nude at the gate; I’d definitely pull over xx

Great collection and you’ve highlighted what a lot of “enthusiast” photographers go through with the learning curves - especially with digital advances. Like the Fuji in your collection, I’ve been using them for a while and like the old retro film look. It’s because of their jpeg quality that I’ve almost stopped processing anything, just try to get it right in the camera🙂. Good luck with the new equipment, you have a high level of skill so it won’t be long before you're a master👍🏻 By the way the best “equipment” in you photo collection is of course your gorgeous wife. All the kit would be useless without V🙂. Steve

Wonderful pictures Richard, the new Camera plus your talent behind the lens, shows much promise. Of course your gorgeous model has a lot to do with the appeal of your pictures, and she shines out, even if in monochrome, as beautiful and desirable as ever.
That’s quite the collection you have there Richard, and a fair challenge you’ve set yourself, but you have summer round the corner and the most beautiful of models to practice with so enjoy. Hopefully you’ll continue to share your results with us, your fans. I await with much excitement.

Richard, I have full confidence you will be able to find your way to producing wonderful images of Vanessa with your new Pentax. One thing I know about cameras you will never fully master all the functions they have to offer but you will master what is necessary to create exquisite images.

Does everyone in Oz have big beautiful porches? Your preliminary photos on the porch reminds me of another couple from Oz who used to post here as well (before the great purge). In fact their photos inspired me to post B&W images long ago.

As always keep up the amazing work or should I say fun. Vanessa you are still very much a dream, a muse and a wonderful person! :rose::heart::rose:
