Vana

scary that. had placenta previa with my eldest. it was frightening. but by the last month of pregnancy, it moved enough...just enough to deliver her naturally. wishing that for you both.

thoughts are with the fam. :rose::heart:

Heard from Vana:

yesterday morning the gynea said they are concerned that the baby is not getting all the nutrients and oxygen that it needs, because of the way the placenta is lying

But - they checked the baby and she is doing just fine - perfect in every way. They dont want to do an amnio, because that will put the baby under unnecesarry risks, so they have had to tests by ultra sound, and blood and urine tests via me

and measuring the heart rate of the baby after I've eaten vs before etc

The problem is, right now there is still space, but as the baby grows, the placenta will be moved around

and the way it's lying, the arteries and blood vessels will be disturbed
and then I will bleed

they can't move the placenta, because it has attached itself to where I bled, and that wound has healed

So - it's a gamble

Either way - it doesnt seem like there is much we can do

Please keep her in your thoughts
