Vana

You could see this coming a mile away. No doubt she'll want to go running the day after.

Time to show her this thread, Fem, and let her appreciate how terrifying the situation was for an extended period of time, and how frightened and anxious her friends were. She almost died, for goodness sake :( , and the C-word - coma - was in my mind as a horrifying possibility for a long time after the operation :(. This would be a good time for Vana to count her blessings, be a good girl, and listen to advice of the professionals who saved her life (and their London colleagues.)

(Roxanne wags finger and puts on most serious look-of-concern face.)

Love and gentle hugs, Vana. :rose:

I agree. Also do they know how to prevent it in the future? will she have to be on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy?
What will she need set up at home in order for her to be okay?

they have a whole rehab program thing where u find out xactly what to do when u're at home`

stuff like what kinda exercise is ok and how much of it etc

theyre sayin as much rest as possible, and for her to take it slow, for the first month as close to bedrest as possible.

and no running, roxie!!!

(and no sex either poor chick)

damn she's supposed ta start teaching a yoga class soon!!

i'll be with her for a month anyway.

Spoke to her 10 minutes ago she really wants ta come home. :rose:

I think the doctors should say yes. If Vana wants to come, it's obviously going to speed up her recovery no end if she's at a place where she's actually happy.

And Vana... you have my complete and utter sympathy, girl. :rose: I know what it's like to have people nagging you to take it easy. After a few days of it, you just feel like going out there and running a marathon to prove you're not a cripple... Not that I could ever condone marathon-running so soon, but you've still got my sympathy

dont think u need lessons in that luv   :p

You can never know too much about things like that  The last book I bought was called How to Get Away with Just About Anything, and it's definitely done me the world of good  :rose:

Those are very odd colored bananas... I mean that in a nice way, but ewww. . . lol.

I think if the doctor's believe she can go home than they will okay it. I know that if they didn't feel it was safe, they'd tell her and she would listen for the sake of the baby. So if the doctors don't have a true problem with it than I hope she gets to come home, especially if she has the support of friends surrounding her. :rose:

doctors say as long as she listens to what shes suppose to do and not do, bein home is ok

she think she'll do better at home. knowing Vana shes right. she needs space and quiet

she goes for a check up once a week too

I'm half asleep I didn't see the HUGE post of her coming home. . .just spank me now. . .(please ;) ) :D

I'm so happy, just like everyone that she is coming home. :)

ofcourse u are luv!!! :rose:

and concerned that she'll take it easy just like all of us and zade although she wont admit it

I refuse to join the 'take it easy' crowd, because I know how annoying it gets when everyone's telling you that :p

And besides - when everyone's telling you not to do things, it always makes you want to do them even more. It does with me, anyway.

This is reverse psychology

I'll just chime in with a "listen to your body" -- which, I've no doubt, she does as naturally as breathing.
