I would check with the hospital first. Our local hospitals will not allow them in most areas. They also don't allow using cell phones. Also stuff can get stolen in hospitals.

You may have to bring old fashion writing implement.

That is a blessed sign, give her the laptop. She has lots to write about.

Noor is right on asking permission, and it might be worth seeing if they hav a lockable place to keep it or take it home over night but if it's all okay, let her have the laptop -she obviously needs it. (sitting in hospital is the most boring thing ever)

theres friends or family with her 24/7 so safety is not an issue. shes got her phones, she insisted on it. i'll ask about the laptop. and there is lockable space

She is definitely feeling better, good on not letting her have the work laptop, not for at least another week, just be careful she doesnt start firing off emails to her work colleagues and being sneaky about it....

baby J is fine and they did tests today, last weeks fiasco didnt affect the baby in a bad way
