Speaking of art and vampires, I found a neat Japanese manga called "Midnight Secretary" by Ohmi Tomu. It's about a young woman working as a secretary who discovers her egotistical, arrogant, womanizing (author's words, not mine!) boss is actually a vampire.
I do have to say, her wolf series is more fun (it goes in this order:
~Kindan no Koi wo Shiyou
~Zoku Kindan no Koi wo Shiyou
~Kindan no Koi Ikou)
The story follows a girl (Hisako) who is rescued by a rather handsome wolf (Yato) who can turn into a man by the power of the moon. In either form, Yato can speak to Hisako. So far I've only read "Kindan no Koi wo Shiyou," where the adventures are light-hearted, and Yato's character often seems to follow one of the manga/anime stereotypes - that of the pervvy, sex-starved man. It's hilarious when he's a wolf trying to get into Hisako's pants.
If you want to read them, remember, you have to read the panels from right to left! You might be able to get more info on Ohmi Tomu's work here: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=56645 To actually read the manga, well, I leave that up to you and Google, since the legalities are a bit sticky.
