I thought the new moon was yesterday? But my moon watcher program says the moon is 0 days old. Yet the calender says yesterday (the 4th) was the new moon?

My calender part of the moon watcher thingy is 1 day off...Yet the picture part of it (tiny tray icon) is right on the money.
Fecking programming error!

It shows the 1/2 moon on the 12th.
