I am looking to get someone a pack(?) of cigars for their birthday but different from what they normally smoke. (Behind the counter at WalMart). I am not a smoker but a new cigar store has opened near me. Many, many types of cigars. Can anyone tell me what the favorite cigars are these days? What are the primo ones and what are the ones to avoid?

Have you tried searching the web? I was looking through a few sites and some are very expensive. I have a feeling you don't want to spend that kind of money. But, I'm sure if you do some research, you might find some that are affordable. Why not go to a tobacco shop and ask someone for help - I'm sure they will give you a direction as to what would be appropriate for your friend.
