Thanx/but...
Thanx Endlessly, it allows me to edit information to go with the username, but no way to change the username. For once, I'm frustrated and not sexually. Will someone please give me some relief so I can go back to being sexually frustrated?

I think you have to register under the new name, and create a new profile.
Click on register and...
get this message: "Our records show that you have already registered at this board under the name of LoveQuest. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here." Then when I click on here to mofify my profile, there is no way to change the username. Am I stuck with this username as long as I use this computer?

still don't think you understand. That's what I'm trying to do is start over. Everytime I click on register as a new user, I get the message I posted above. Thanx everyone for the attempts. May just have to enter as a new user on another computer.

I'm not a technical person by any sense of the word, but could it be you have a "cookie" from Literotica on your pc so it recognizes you as being registered? Try finding your cookie file and deleting anything with Literotica name. Then start over and maybe the system won't recognize you.

I couldn't create a new profile either which is a shame, I think it is part of the setup of the new system for better or for worse. I dont know how wizard and skitten get around it, so it might be worth asking them.

I've heard of those, but not sure what they are. Please explain, as well as how to delete them. Your help is greatly appreciated. Still trying to get back to sexually frustrated v. technically frustrated... lol. BTW, trying to change my username to VegasGuy to match my literotica mail address as well as profile soon to be posted. VG

Go to your folders on your hard drive. I have a sub folder called "temporary internet" under "windows" folder. In there are all my cookies. Every so often I hit "edit" on the tool bar above, then "select all" , then to to "file" on toolbar, and hit "delete". That gets rid of all the cookies out of the "temporary internet" folder including those with names like "Sex tracker" etc. At work, I actually have a folder labeled "cookies". That's about my technical limit, though. It deleting cookies doesn't work, maybe send an email to Laurel to ask for help?

OK that one I can answer.
If you go into the icon that says my computer on it go into your C:/ drive and look for folder windows. Double click on it and it will open. Once there look for folder saying Temporary Internet Files, open it go to edit select all then goto file and click delete. It will ask you about the cookies and you just click yes. But now remember if you do this on some web pages that you want to keep you might lose. Like when I clean mine I have to reopen my email again at zdnet before it will save my Password and username again. This should allow to restart with different nick on here. Unfortunely I have gone to far as me to change mine now don't want to have to go back and start again. So good luck. Hope that one helps you.

I am pretty sure that you need to E-Mail Manu and have him delete your current username, because as long as it exists you won't be able to establish a new username. This board is set to allow only one username per e-mail address.
He may be able to change the username so you don't lose your post count. I know he can delete a user.
You can use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of this page, which will address an e-mail to Webmaster@Literotica.com.

I just checked it out. What you need to do to register under a new name is this:
Go to the front page of the bulletin board. (here: http://www.literotica.com/forum/)
Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page, and hit the "Log out" link
Then when you get the front page of the bullentin board again, hit the
link at the top of the page, and start all over.
