In my neverending quest for a country property to buy, I dragged Bluebie out on another drive yesterday.

While driving through some little town neither of us had ever heard of before, he saw a sign that started a very very strange conversation.


You know...one of those that starts you giggling and then leads to belly laughs and pretty soon tears running down the face, trying to catch breath and maybe I should pull over to the side of the road for a minute?


Yep. He saw a sign for USED BJs.

What do you think that means? (I never did find out exactly what it was).

It might have been on 1006 between Dayton and Baytown. I found a PERFECT place in Dayton. We were testing the commute when passing the sign.

We found a really pretty drive yesterday while looking for a road that we never did find. It was the north eastern road out of Dayton -- circled back to deadend (after about 15-20 miles) at 301 which gives you the choice of going right to Cleveland or left back to Dayton. Since we were still looking for the road we never found, we went back to Dayton and continued south, which is where we ended up seeing the sign in question. We like to wander. That area is still in recovery mode from Rita. We saw some very beautiful countryside though.
