(Please forgive the obvious oxymoron, "US intelligence"...)
So...
...Turkey Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan cries to Obama to immediately employ a US-enforced no-fly zone over central and northern Syria, after mortar attacks from Syria kill 5 Turkish civilians.
But the Prez says no because "recent intelligence...suggests that Syrian President Bashar Assad will not be able to hold on to power for any longer than six months."
Reportedly, Washington "did give the green light for Turkey to launch its own attacks inside Syrian territory, a move that was rubber stamped by the Turkish parliament earlier today. The buffer zone will allow opposition fighters, many of whom are Al-Qaeda terrorists, to more easily acquire weapons to conduct terrorist bombings in Aleppo and Damascus."
Remember as this unfolds...
...a number of Islamic Republic of Iran (Shiite) elite forces have been killed fighting for Syria's Assad (Shiite), and a top Russian General, "advising" Assad, has now been killed by Syrian "rebels".
The top commander of these Syrian "rebels" is an al Qaeda (Sunni) Libyan who led the attack against Gaddafi with US support and then immediately meandered over to Syria to intensify the present "revolt" there...
...oh, what a wicked web you still weave, Mr. President.
