An American woman, based in the UK is accused of killing a motorcyclist while driving on the wrong side of the road. She claimed diplomatic immunity, which she didn't have, and fled the UK.
The UK government asked for her to be extradited to face trial but the US Secretary of State has refused.
Under the extradition treaty the UK government doesn't have that right if the US asks for extradition of someone in the UK.
The UK should refuse all US extradition requests until the accused woman is extradited.
