Maybe drinking pee isnt for everyone...sterile or not...its gross to some of us. And if that is someones opinion...thats ok. I dont see it influencing anyones decision to stop considering or halting all urine drinking...

Yes, urine is safe to drink if that's your bag, but only in small doeses or on occasion because it is a waste-water system employed there. So re-introducing it will mean the kidneys & liver process it again but it doesn't get any worse the next time it comes out, the body just does a little more work.

In the stranded at sea scenarios, drinking salt-water kills you eventually if you keep drinking it because the body trying to get rid of all the extra salt will make you pee...ummm I think it's three times...more than whatever seawater you drink. So drinking your own urine in that scenario is advised.

The really toxic stuff coming out of your body is usually your ass since it's high in bacteria...I mean a form of E.coli lives within your lower intestine because it helps break down the food better and lives there symbiotically...

So hey, if it's your thing, then knock yourself out. Ewwww I was about to joke "this round's on me!" but that would be in poor taste. hehehe
