So back in the day you’d have little rituals where you could find out your future partner’s name or maybe even catch a glimpse of their face. For example: the Dumb Supper.
So what about some ideas of little rituals and urban legends that people believe in and try and invoke to get a partner or just get laid?
For example: the panty tree
Small town is next to a big forest. In th the middle is a small tree that is adorned with panties. The story goes that if you go there at night, leave your panties and then wear one of the ones from the tree, you will become irresistible to the first person you talk to after you leave the forest.
A. Woman goes out there and does the swap but gets lost on the way back. She runs into another woman who is also lost and after trying to travel out of the woods in silence, they start talking, rationalizing that as long as they don’t talk after leaving the forest they should be good.
Turns out they have a lot in common. They both even made the swap because they have a friend who is dating someone bad for them.
They leave the forest and both of them can’t help but say goodbye…and then they wind up in the back of a car fucking.
B. Same as above but when she leaves it’s someone who stops her on the way. Like a cop, a gas station attendant, etc
C what happens when a guy tries it? Does the swap still work or does something strange happen?
Another legend: go to your backyard on a full moon and lie out naked in the moonlight. Close your eyes and count down from 100. When you hit 0 you will get a visit from your future partner.
Is this just a scheme by partners or does something magical actually happen
