Updated forum rules!

My one and only official searchy hint. I'm one of the people for whom the search function rarely works correctly. I've had better luck associating a person with a topic and using their profile to search. For example... I want to see threads on electricity, which is one of DVS's things. So I click on a thread he's posted in, click on his name to get his profile, and choose either "find all posts by this user" if I want a generic list or if I want a specific thread that I'm pretty sure he started, I'd pick the other option which shows me all of his threads. This also works with finding a thread where I know who started it but not where it is. (This happens a lot with me.) Like if wanted to find the Apocalyse/Epiphany thread. I can't recall the exact name, and the search function only works about half the time for me. But I know that AA started it. So I skip the search function, click on his name, get his profile and then choose the "show all threads" option. I get better results this way.
Interesting. I didn't know we were so much alike. We both use our own methods, make our own path to a satisfactory result and we both like using the...um...back door. :D

You did a search with the exact same settings as I show in the numbered picture above? and what happened?

Yes, same settings. I tried to save it so I could show you, but I'm not sure how to do that.

And actually this time I got a completely blank screne. I tried twice and got a blank screne each time. grr

Sounds like Gracie has the same trouble I do with electronics. They flat-out hate me and often break as soon as I come near 'em or touch 'em. I'm surprised my lappy hasn't completely burned up - literally! - yet.

Hi...

Saw the rules post, making my obligatory "Yes, I've read them" response.

Forgive me if this is a threadjack/off topic, but I do have a little question about the TOS from when I signed up. The terms say not to post anything "sexually explicit" (quote from faulty memory). This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, given the nature of the site...

Could someone please explain to this clueless newbie?

Mmmmm... that's kind of tricky.

I think what it means is, don't post any full size images of genitals (you can link itty bitty ones or whatever, but huge, screensize ones are not nice! :p ) and try to use a little bit of taste if you're, say, describing what you did last night.

In other words, if you don't -need- to use a graphic or vulgar word or term, consider using something less crude. And use tiny pics or just links. :) Not all of us live alone or with people that are either legal, or that need to see kinky things. That's all. :)

We're not asking you to post to a sex board and not talk about sex! :D

(And by the way... start a post if you want to. Until they disable the "new post" button for newbies, you can post if you want. :) )

Well, you got me, on that one. Frankly, I don't remember reading that, when I signed up. Not that it wasn't there, but I just don't remember.

But, when you think about it, anything talked about here isn't sexually explicit, unless you think it is. It's like the question, "what is obscene". Sounds like a trick question to me. There's some pretty sexual stuff on these boards. Where's a moderator when you need one?

This thread is an old fart's pathetic attempt at asserting power.

Sexually explicit pictures, are not only allowed, but welcomed.

We have a fucking "Amateur Pics" forum for god's sake!

Look, I'm going to need you to tone this down a bit, mmmk?

Wow, this thread turned into a "how to use search". And I was expecting at least on or two "gross" pictures.

Well, just the man we're looking for. If anybody can answer this question, it's Sir Quam.

Hey, Lady, tone it down a bit. The explicit cops are in the house.

I'm not sure if I'm more thrilled or scared! Me, a Domly one?

I do that a lot. I'm better at remembering who made a post than remembering where I saw it or what the post was called.

I'm not the only one then! YAY!

This whole thread is too explicit!!!

I'm shutting it down!!

I've taken all your names, no one better leave town!!

:D

Oh no, they might cuff me and throw me in the back. If I act up, maybe they will crack me with a nightstick over and over again.

The masochist in me is now lost in a cop fantasy. Damn DVS

I feel like one of the usual suspects. Isn't funny how sometimes old movies start showing up in all these threads.

It's our magnetic personalities. :D

Frankly it's so true. Half the time I'm at the grocery store their computer quits as soon as I get in line. Same with any store for that matter. I'm quite used to standing in line, cause something always happens.

Rules are only selectively and capriciously enforced everywhere.

It's much better to beg forgiveness then ask for permission which is why I don't bother reading the rules or thinking too hard about them.

Yeah, I'm admittedly a bit of a nut and actually read crazy rules. Call me pedantic, the agency does. That's why they hired me :)

I think Xeshire's just worrying about whether raping me or not is against the rules. *sly smile*

Now now, let's not kick that word around. Besides, I'd ask first anyway...

Furthermore, if having wild sex with you is wrong, I don't want to be right!
