After reading through all of your ideas and suggestions. Here is the course of action i am going to take regarding my writer's story.

The young writer wakes up the next morning and he realizes how badly he screwed up by telling her his secret.

So he apologizes to her and they continue there romantic relationship slowly very slowly he has another big secret regarding his health that he has to reveal later and she carries a lot of pain and misery regarding her ugly marriage and divorce.

Then i plan to wrap up the story and then type it up and post it.

Look forward to reading it. Though wonder, if I may, if he is sorry he shared the first secret, what drives him to divulge the second? What is it about her, or them together, that makes him so comfortable opening up without even realizing what he is doing???
