Unwanted Messages: Spam

In the past couple of weeks, I've received unwanted messages, basically invitations to click on links etc from Lit members. In my opinion, I consider these messages spam.

There doesn't appear to be anything regarding these unwanted messages in the Forum Rules. Other than blocking the person, is there anything I need to do?

Having the same experience...I just delete.

You can block all private messages. Click User CP, click Edit Options, uncheck the Enable Private Messaging box.

I believe there's a report button on messages, as well as in threads. Reporting the sender would help.

How often is it happening? I rarely receive such messages (although I received one today)--not often enough not to just delete it and walk off.

I receive them and delete them.
The spammers are pretty much drive-by,
they hit once and then go away (or change their handle).

I get more unwanted spam on my phone though.
It seems like I am blocking someone on a daily basis...

A lot are drive-by spam, just check the number of posts the sender has. If it's zero (usually), or a really low number, report or bin it.
