A friend sent me this powerful video and I'm a little overwhelmed at how much there is to unpack here. Please help!
Please don't bring hatefulness or accusations or any personal emotional baggage into this rational discussion (Yes, I'm also speaking to myself). Think of this as an objective discussion in a college class and try to understand all the different viewpoints and be respectful of each other. If it degenerates into one group bashing the other, I'll regret posting it and ask the mods to delete the thread.

The first two words that sprung to my mind were toxic and broken. So much else is left up to interpretation, I don't feel like there's a clear storyline here.

For those interested, the quote is from My Fair Lady by Professor Henry Higgins:
Have you ever met a man of good character where women are concerned?
Well, I haven't
I find that the moment a woman makes friends with me
She becomes jealous, exacting
Suspicious, and a damn nuisance
And I find that the moment I make friends with a woman
I become selfish and tyrannical
She'll regret it

It’s a unique video, positing that the male-female dynamic is broken, and can’t be put back together, just cleaned up. I don’t buy that it’s a given, though it takes empathy and care on all parts for it to be as it should be.

Makes you wonder about the creator's life experiences! I think there's a lot of truth in it, but it seems very bleak to me.

Very Deep, Madusa's head attacking the man is great symbolism and the face sends a pronoun message. Men and women need each other, we're both different, but balance each other out. I can't do everything a woman can, they're unique and special, just like I bring something unique and special to the table. We need to be more tolerant of all people and views, even the ones we don't agree with
The video is incredibly profound! We can be so destructive to each other and it's heartbreaking. One hurt leads to lashing out and back and forth until complete obliteration.

Yes, it is sad, but it's refreshing to see open minds like you. I'm proud of you

I listen to Jordan Peterson sometimes, he's a Clinical Phycologist and brilliant man. I have learned so much from him, he is also great at calmly winning debates.
I'll have to google him! (Get your mind out of the gutter. lol)

I see and hear it as creative expressions using audio visual as the media of choice. The warped facial expressions the artist is using byte’s to symbolize social media interaction and train of thoughts.

I see it as abstract artwork 🖼 , nothing more , nothing less.
