I assume they eventually find out, or it isn't much of a story.

I would have at least one of them know all sides of the triangle. Maybe it's the "third man" who specifically targeted both halves of the couple, and gets off on the irony of it. Or maybe the husband sensed that his wife was having an affair, investigated, found the dude, and when he confronted him about it, ended up getting seduced into a gay affair with him as well. Actually, that last one is pretty close to a story I already wrote.
