United Airlines says that 50% of the pilots they hire in the next decade will be women or people of color

Can they FLY planes?

Sure, problem is they only make up a tiny % of pilots, because most women don't want to become pilots.

Why are they not being inclusive of gay people?

Shouldn't there be a quota for them too?

;) ;)

Who don't want to learn how to land the plane?

;) ;)

I love how "landing the plane" isn't the most important qualifier, genitals and skin color are.

And if you disagree with them YOU'RE the racist/sexist.....LOL

Woke leftist really are degenerate pieces of shit.

, because most women don't want to become pilots.

Shoulda' told my sister 30 years ago, she piloted the big ones for a major airline from sometime in the eighties.

It was men that didn't want women to become pilots - not women!

So then why despite nearly a century of their being able to do so the OVERWHELMING majority of people pursuing their wings civilian and military, male??

I'm not saying women can't or shouldn't.

I had my life saved by a female F-14 Tomcat pilot in Iraq.

But the fact remains despite the lack of obstacles and equal opportunity only 5% of pilots are female and 1.2% of captains being female and less than 1% of fighter pilots are female.

Not because they can't....because they choose not to.

I had two high school female friends that went to the air force academy and have been pilots for 25 years. Any of my other classmates, both male and female could have done the same thing but chose other professions. Over half my class in medical school was female. 70% of the optometry school was female. 75% of the vet school was female. In fact, in pharmacy, nursing, physician assistant, occupational and physical therapy..... in other words, all the health care professions, females are the majority. So should they pursue turning it around and taking more males? This is just stupid CEO pandering to the "woke" morons. What is it called? Virtue signaling? Trust me, if I wanted to fly I am smart enough and have enough testosterone to do it. I just choose not to. And I want a qualified pilot not someone chosen by their gender. It is insulting to women

Yup. With freedom and equal opportunity comes unequal and divergent outcomes and exceptions to the general trends.

So should they pursue turning it around and taking more males?

No, imo they should pursue the highest of standards of training, proficiency and professionalism.

Especially when it comes to other peoples lives depending on it.

Genitals and skin color as a job qualification is fucking idiotic.

I thought we had gotten past that as a society but (D)'s are super hard for it.
