Since I’ve been in the author’s hangout I’ve learned that my fellow lit authors are an incredibly impressive bunch who have lived incredibly impressive lives and to simply be here among you I feel so fortunate and honored. That said I would love to learn more about you all! Specifically how about we share something entirely unimpressive yet perhaps a bit quirky about ourselves.

I’ll go first! The only Cheetos I eat are hot Cheetos and I always eat them with chopsticks. I guess that’s two facts…

I definitely like the crunchy Cheetos as opposed to the puffy Cheetos. Also, I almost always like something more when it's hot and spicy.

Interesting about the Cheetos and chopsticks. That's kind of . . . kinky. I might try it.

I learned to eat fried chicken cold with ice cream from Pops. A bite of cold chicken and a spoonful of ice cream together is a surprisingly good snack. I like reading horror stories while I munch away on my chicken and ice cream.

In the last 6 months, I am among the 0.25% of Kendrick Lamar listeners on Youtube Music not because I'm some kind of superfan but because I put single songs on repeat for days or weeks at a time. (Edit: it's not the one you think)

Approximately 10% of all the meals I've ever eaten have been peanut butter sandwiches.

Ten percent by frequency, mass, or volume?

Quantity. It's probably higher by volume because, as we all know, the only correct way to make a peanut butter sandwich is to assemble it thusly:

Bread
Peanut butter
-
Peanut butter
Bread
Peanut butter
-
Peanut butter
Bread

The triple decker. With milk.

If this is true, whatever gave you the idea in the first place????
It is true. My dad used to do it. When I tried it the blander taste of the pinto beans offset the sweetness of the cake. It's an interesting taste sensation. Much like Millie's chicken and ice cream, different yes, but for me a good one.

Comshaw

Lol, mine will play right into this. I love peanuts and I love milk butter. But I can't stand peanut butter.
So much for logic, eh? 🫤
