Hi Folks,
I'm wondering if anyone else has run across what appears to be an unforbidden forbidden subject. I'm referring to the Mentally Challenged. I've been around enough of the horny little buggers in institutions to know their free ways involving sex, grin. I know it continues to be a continuing problem with the guardians and councilors, because it seems, they're pretty inventive in many ways when they want to sneak off and get a little, and of course, they're mostly innocent, and see no wrong in what they do. Personally I agree, and cheer them on delightedly, but I'm wondering if this is a forbidden subject with Erotica. Would someone let me know? Thanks very much, and a special thanks and hello to those who enjoy my scribblings! Love you all! Uncle Pervey, "DOME!"

Yes, it does sound potentially ick.
My ex worked in a mental hospital for close to 10 years. The patients were either mentally disturbed or both insane and mentally challenged. Some of them had to be placed in orange jumpsuits with locked zippers to control their sexual activities--those with STDs. My ex told me that the patients were very active and not the least bit discreet.
I can accept a poem that is written sensitively about this subject, but I don't think a rhyming romp on this subject will appeal to many readers.

schizophrenics are especially known, ( according to my psych professor) for public masturbation, and some of them might even enjoy a rhyming romp, but I have volunteered a bit at a mental health clubhouse and they all seem to NOt fit the stereotypical idea of horny buggers running round jacking off on anything that moves...

like was offered, sensitive would be nice, if thats even possible, consideringring

I think it would be more possible if the poem was written by someone who, for instance, is around these people. Someone who can give their observations. Maybe not focus on just the sex. It really just depends. My ex said that two patients really wanted to be together, so they found a place behind some shrubs in the middle of the day. I suppose they weren't capable of being fully aware of their situation the way we'd be aware. I don't think many of us would choose a spot were people are walking by. Now, a poem about this would work if it focused on their ability to not be part of the "normal" world. I'm sure they were in their own reality and simply doing what they wanted, without fearing the consequences. Just imagine the freedom. So, a poem could work, if the poet stays away from crude, juvenile verse.

wow
so I'm schizo??

yes you are

shut up and go jerk off

ok

Question of taking advantage.

Well Friends, looks like I've stirred the Hornet's nest again hunh? Yes, my poem is somewhat light and frollicksome, but is certainly no putdown, and tries to point out relations that are different, but similar, and satisfying for both parties. My poem has nothing to do with what is referred to as institutions, but more of special schools for training on the different means of independant living for mentally challenged people, and the fact that they are innocent in many ways, and are willing participents in self gratification where sex is concerned. I see absolutely NO humor in this subject, but I DO see an uncontaminated spiritual love with pure innocense at unusual relationships that I find worth admiring! Take care lovely people! Hmmm~

Thinking I have came in on the tale end of this. I have't read the poem you are refering to. Will look it up. So as far as I can tell. This is about people with *special* problems...

OK here are my thoughts (for what they are worth..lol) I have a cousin who is older than me, yet in his mind he is like 12-14. He is the sweetest somebody ya ever wanna meet. He is now working a public job and loves it. Never met a more innocent person in your life. He never meets a stranger and is just soo innocent in ability to think.
Except when it comes to gurls. As of late they have really attracted his attention. He loves them. All..!!~ It's all he thinks of now.. He is in his late 30's and never been with anyone Sexually (err not that I know of anyway..lol). Bless his heart he falls in an outta love with every gurl he meets..
So for him. I wish and hope there is a love out there. Someone he can actually connect with, and have a full loving life. I have hope for him anyway..

Thanks for listening to my ramblings and hoping I got the question right, lol~

U R Rite LilDarlin!

Hey Sweetie, grin, you are so, so right about your cousin's attitude, and personality. Your experience is the same as mine has been around Mentally Challenged folks of both ages. From the looks of it, at least to the moment of this response, you'll probably not find my poems dealing with the sexual experiences of this group of special people on Literotica, smile. Sad to say, narrow-mindedness is not restricted to that "Bertha better than you pew," you'll find in every church, grin. Love ya, and thanks for an honest opinion, as well as your reaction, as to your own, personal experience! Have a good one, or two? Or as many as you want! (Hahaheha.) Uncle Pervey, (DOME.)

Slight Adendum.

That one line should have read "Folks of all ages," or, "Folks of both sexes!" Sorry about that, but you know how rushing can get you in trouble, grin! Uncle P.
