As Jeanette watched Mike and the one claiming to be Amanda argue back and forth, a delivery man entered the station with a package. Only when the deliveryman approached her did her suspicions raised up. Her superior already delivered her personal files to her new captain weeks ago prior to her transfer. A part of her wanted to stop Mike from opening up something that was addressed to her. At the same time, there was something quite uncomfortable and bizzare about the whole situation.
She took a quick glance at the woman who proceeded to light up another cigarette. "Please don't smoke in here." Jeanette simply told her.
After Mike finished signing off the E-Reader and opened the package, Jeanette's eyebrows raised. It appeared to be a flapper dress that was popular in the 1920s.
"I don't remember ordering that."
It was not the dress that made Jeanette uneasy but the fact that it was as if it were made for her. The measurements were down to a tee.
"Suppose if the one who sent that is connected to the murders." She said softly, more addressing Mike than thinking out loud.
