"How did I know that you wouldn't be too upset about shopping?"
They climbed back in the car and were on their way. He figured that having Jessie with him would be a good thing. She would be able to pick out what he should wear.
Even when he wasn't undercover, Trevor never liked going shopping. He could see how much Jessie enjoyed it though. She moved around with a smile on her face; holding clothes up for him, and also doing a little shopping for herself.
He didn't like being in public with her though. It wasn't because he was embarrassed to be with her; hell, anyone would be proud to be seen in public with someone as beautiful as Jessie.
T's real concern was for her safety; after all, he was supposed to be protecting her, and being in public presented challenges. T was aware of every person, male or female that came close to Jessie, and was always in position to get to her if need be.
"Okay Jessie, what are we wearing tonight? I think you have some ideas for me, and I am pretty sure you have some ideas for yourself as well."
He smiled at her and followed her as she finished the last of her shopping. He insisted on paying and pulled out a wad of cash. Obviously, he did not have plastic that he would whip out.
After they finished checking out, he walked out of the store first and scanned the area before they headed to the car and went back to Jessie's place.
It had been a long time since he had been dressed in anything but jeans and his colors. The outfit she had picked out for him made him feel like a million bucks.
When she walked back into the room, his jaw dropped.
"I might have to change my mind about going out. After all, I am going to have to spend the night beating guys away from you."
Not only was Jessie beautiful, she looked absolutely stunning in her new black dress. He couldn't help but stare at her, and he actually checked to make sure his mouth wasn't wide open and that he wasn't drooling.
"Of course, I would not change my mind. I told you we would go dancing, so, we will. I just have to make sure that I keep a close eye on who approaches you. Looking like that, I am sure that the guys will be lined up trying to get your attention."
He watched her move toward the door and then followed her to her car. T did not like Jessie doing all of the driving, but, only having a bike necessitated it.
When they exited the car, T took her hand and led her toward the front door. It looked like the place was crowded, and he wanted to keep her close. Another reason that he took her hand was an attempt to keep other guys away from her. He didn't want to end up in an altercation if someone approached her.
She remained close to him all evening. Lost in the music it seemed but always seemed to know just where he was. The hours seemed to fly by till last call.
It had been a long time since he had gone dancing. It just didn't fit the undercover assignment that he was on.
He enjoyed his time with Jessie. She moved so well that he felt awkward, since he hadn't done it in such a long time. When they weren't dancing, his eyes were on her and everything around her.
At last call, he made sure that he was standing right behind her. He wasn't ready for their night together to end, but he knew they had to leave here, so, he wanted to be able to be close to her as they walked out.
"I am sure you don't want to go to the MC, and, unfortunately, that is the only place around that is open. We would have to go into the city to find a place. So, our choices are ... go to the city, go to the MC, or go to your place. Since, I am technically your bodyguard, I will defer to the beautiful lady."
T settled the tab with the bartender and left a nice tip. They headed out to her car. He opened the door for her and let her in, before going around and getting into the passenger side.
Once they were back to her place, he made sure the doors were all locked. "You don't mind if I change do you? Or are you just going to call it a night and go to bed?"
Moments later after he was changed and she had gotten ready she walked back out in an old soft cotton oversized grey tank and shorts set and curled up on the couch only.to debate something to eat and drink.
