Underage...HELP!?

I received the following message regarding a story post, and I'm a bit confused:

"Because there is no difference between reading about fictional underage sex and reading about fictional people pretending to be underage, we do not allow underage sexual roleplay stories just as we don't allow underage sexual fiction."

Now granted, the story was basically a Daddy/daughter role-play story between consenting adults, but I tried to make it very clear the role-play was adult (i.e., the 'daughter' was over 18). Does all Daddy/daughter role-play automatically assume underage? If not, are there any magic bullets (so to speak) to include in the story to make it 'Lit. worthy'?

Regards and thanks in advance.

Sometimes a little disclaimer at the top saying 'All characters in this story are of or above the age of consent for sexual activity' works...

depends on your story really.

Same here. It's been suggested to me that one has to PM Laurel with the title of the story and have her personally 'vette it.

I just haven't gotten around to it, myself.

I submitted three times, the last one saying - "this thirty five year old woman" and it still got blasted. 'Bots, apparently.

"THINK OF THE CHILDRUN!"

Child pr0n is the big issue of this decade. It's a good thing of course, but it's so mucxh fun to turn it into a witch-hunt, and all writers and artists have to know and understand this. It may be inevitable that we keep our heads ducked down for a bit. The general public doesn't understand age play.

Has anyone been following the livejournal debacle lately? I shamefully admit to being very entertained by this three-ring circus-- at the same time, it worries me hugely.

I think where authors run into trouble is that they make the dialogue and/or description of their characters (or play role) too "prepubescent" or "childish." Disclaimers of "legal age" don't hold much water if the descriptions and actions are child-like.

I have one story posted that features a teenage girl -- 19 y/o -- about whom one of my editors complained "she sounds like a stereotypical Japanese School Girl;" Which is exactly the visual image I wanted to present. The story was accepted because the character's thoughts and actions are anything BUT a match for her physical appearance.

Thanks to all for the input! I cleaned-up the dialog to remove anything remotely "childish," and added the standard 18+ disclaimer, so we'll see what happens. Sadly, my guess is it's still going to get the boot again...

Fingers crossed.

!

For all who replied above, my story was finally posted today (after 5 attempts at cleaning it up). I guess I have two messages:

First, thanks for the input.

Second, don't sell your stories short, they can and will be posted too!

While I agree that there is a general witch-hunt going on re age play, that isn't the issue here at Lit.

Stories about childhood sexuality and age-play are not allowed on Lit. because of Laurel's personal preference. She simply does not want stories about underage sex or age-play on Literotica.

This is an example of "Freedom of the Press" at work. Press freedom belongs to the one who owns the press (or website in this case).

With all of the work that Laurel goes to in protecting authors' rights and with her clearly demonstrated commitment to freedom of expression, I think we should respect those few limits that she does set.

If she doesn't want stories on Literotica that involve age-play or underage sex (or fully non-consensual sex), that is her absolute right as the owner of the website.
