Across the street of the club a man stepped out of a black and red car mustang. He was a very handsome man with short hair as black as midnight, his face was as chiseled as it was rugged and his plain black and silver suit did nothing to hide his muscular body.
But his eyes were the most captivating
They were electric green and sparkled with intensity most men didn’t have. They also spoke about his character, as they seemed to go on for ages and seemed to be filled with some sort of pain. He seemed to have been through enough to last a lifetime.
And it hadn’t been a good one
He looked around for a few seconds before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a cigar. A gold lighter followed it as hee lit it and took a long appreciative drag before turning and going over to his trunk. He opened it and reached into his pocket pulling out a long black wallet, he tossed it into the trunk before a police issued 1911 followed it. He stared at it for a second before shutting the trunk with out a single word and turning the separate lock on it. He turned back towards the club fixing his tie as he took another deep drag of his cigar. He let it drop onto the pavement before stomping it out.
Alexander Cross wouldn’t need it tonight.
He stepped across the street and entered the club. He paid no mind to the bouncers starring at him angrily. He raised an eyebrow at him opening his jacket pocket to show he didn’t have a gun. The man regarded him for a second before nodding and stepping out of the way.
Alex walked in his mind flashing back to the last couple of weeks. He remembered walking into the recruitment centers ready to become a police officer. He remembered some one pulling him aside instead.
Offering him a much different challenge
Three months later his hair was shaved down and he was stepping into his new life as an under cover detective not affiliated with the cops. His handlers told him that while trying to infiltrate a new crime bosses operation every other under cover detective hadn’t made it past the front door. Which was why they recruited him. He had no known ties to the police except for walking in once three months ago. The higher ups didn’t know about him because his handler was the soul person who knew of his existence.
No help No back up
Alexander loved it
He reached the elevator going to the top and stepped inside pushing the button and watching the door close. He was an up and coming enforcer some one trying to become one of the lieutenants. This should have taken him months of climbing up the criminal ladder. Alexander however was inventive. He found out who the boss wanted dead the most on one of the rival clans and killed them making each kill impressive in there own ways. He made sure the police couldn’t track him but the criminal under world would get his unique call sign.
The elevator dinged opening into a spacious loft. The guards were all sitting around watching him as he stepped off of the elevator. He ignored them going over and letting them pat him down and pass a metal detector over him.
Once they made sure he was clean they moved out of the way letting him walk over to the double doors. He knocked and entered standing at a respectable attention.
