Until today, I had never laid eyes on one, and I've realized that I really know nothing about the medical pros and cons, the religious significance or the sexual implications of circumcision vs. non-circumcision. Sure, I could Google it, but I like learning from you guys.

I can't help you much on this question. It's just something you learn to live with.

My oldest daughter is a nurse. Her first hands on work as a newbie nurse was on a VA ward where she cared for a dozen or so men, ages 60 and up. Her experience with uncircumcised penises left her with a very strong opinion on the subject and when my grandson was born, there was no question whether or not he would be circumcised.

Before we knew our 1st was going to be a girl, I researched it. The big differences were its easier to maintain cleanliness when circumcised and you have a smaller chance of getting an STD, but a lot of research suggests that those who are circumcised have less feeling in that region and that it can also stunt penis growth.
