I have to admit. I don't answer all my feedback.

I have a bad habit, I will read it all, quite greadily, hurried to get to the next one, thinking I will send a reply 'later' when I have time to make a good response.

I have feedback from long ago that I haven't gotten to.

Often when I do respond, I get another response, and this could go on forever. This is fine for one or two, but for all my feedbacks? It would be to much!

I admit it, I am bad. I don't return all my e fan mail. Not that I don't intend to...

When I leave feedback, I don't expect an answer. If I get an answer and the author seems inclined to discuss what I said, I'll reply.

I don't reply to much feedback on my stories either. Sorry, I don't mean to be rude. But I rarely get negative feedback and in the rare instance when I do it seems to be comments along the lines of, "You took to long to get to the sex. I don't care about their talking, just get to the fucking." Well I write romantic pieces. Sorry it's just me. Starting a strory off with, "He ripped her blouse open and tit-fucked her." just doesn't sound all that romantic to me. So most of the negative stuff I ignore.

I do try to respond to feedback that is intelligently written, good or bad. I'm not totally closed to suggestions. But when I get one that says "Beautiful story, they seem so in love. Well written." Well what can I say to that? I take the compliment, joyously, and try to pump out a story that's even better next time.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off that way.

Lime, who also replies to all feedback (not that I get that much), even if just to say "thanks for reading."

its ok.. longs you promise to wear a hat next time..*grin*

I respond to all feedback that directly relates to my writing, if they have mentioned my stories and such, even bad resposes. The ones that are invitations to meet or for sex I usually let them go unanswered even if they have made reference to my work along with such an invitation I only respond the the writing portion leaving the invitation untouched. I had tried in the past to send a "thanks for the invitation but no thanks" response but a lot of times that just encouraged more responses, bolder and more insistent.

I stopped responding to feedback when I got that death threat. Not wishing to have my real e-mail address let out to air as it were. Yet every day I find some feedback waiting for me, even though they can no longer send me feedback annonymously. Still, I do open, read, and quite often enjoy the feedback that my stories receive even if I don't respond to them. And yes, I get as much if not more feed back about my stories as I do about the picture of me posted in my profile. LOL
