What is going on with the members section?

I went to look at my submissions, and it says that my last submission was 12/31/69

It also says that I have 55 submissions (correct) but when I go to view them, the page is empty.

Same problem here! The 1969 date is undoubtedly a system default that gets displayed when a portion of a member's records can't be found by the system. I had noticed that a couple of my stories had begun to lose Views counts the past day or so as well.



I sent in a new story on Sunday, then a suggestion on Monday... I was afraid I'd ticked someone off! LOL

Yipes! Same thing here and I can't access the New strories listings and other items from the stories Index.

What gives? 'Script updates' doesn't cut it as a real explanation.

Update

I heard from Laurel. They are aware of the problem and working on it. ASAP is the only ETA possible when the gremlins have been this successful. [6PM EST]

From what I can see, it's all of the areas involved with computations that are taking a hit, and the New Section is empty. If you go to Incest, for example, the stories are still in the stacks. But the Top Incest list is empty.

Hi Ray,

Glad to hear someone else has been excluded too - tried to get in and kept getting the login page instead of my profile page.

Boo Hoo been working all day on a short (1500 word) story - even html'd it and now I cann't post it.

Let's hope the gremlins get out of the server. Maybe too many used rubbers have fallen over the fan.

Back in the old millennium, when Eli-the-Bearded was running the ASSTR Archive, the site hit a glitch and was out for three weeks. Compared to that, this is barely a hiccup.
