Ultrasound zaps could be male contraceptive

Sound is something you hear.
The medical profession has it's own ways of defining things, the Radio & Electronics has a similar tradition.
I can bang out 100W on about 3MHz and it is Radio Frequency.

I once had "Ultrasound" treatment for a neck problem. It was at about 5MHz and 10w/ cm sq. She & I had a good discussion about it.
I still claimed it was RF.

I guess that would depend upon the type of transducer, one the couples the energy into compressive waves ( sonic), or and electromagnetic wave (radio, RF). If it were RF it would be like a Microwave oven and just heat up things, but I don't see how sonic transducer would work at those frequencies, wouldn't the medium cavitate?
