That's why they call it utrasound.
It ain't sound.
Sound is something you hear.
The medical profession has it's own ways of defining things, the Radio & Electronics has a similar tradition.
I can bang out 100W on about 3MHz and it is Radio Frequency.
I once had "Ultrasound" treatment for a neck problem. It was at about 5MHz and 10w/ cm sq. She & I had a good discussion about it.
I still claimed it was RF.
