Superhydrophobic and oleophobic coating--which means it pretty much repels anything and everything liquid-like. Video has gone viral and if you watch it you'll see why. Take a look. It's pretty darn cool.

From the website:
Ultra-Ever Dry is a superhydrophobic (water) and oleophobic (hydrocarbons) coating that will completely repel almost any liquid. Ultra-Ever Dry uses proprietary nanotechnology to coat an object and create a barrier of air on its surface. This barrier repels water, oil and other liquids unlike any coating seen before. The other breakthrough associated with Ultra-Ever Dry is the superior coating adherence and abrasion resistance allowing it to be used in all kinds of applications where durability is required.

That's some amazing stuff. I wonder if I can treat my waterfowl gun with it. Would sure make keeping it clean a lot easier.

Super cool!

I have a couz that was a logger, he would love this stuff.

Now there's a question....

Apply to the car and it's 'clean' for ever ?
I haven't visited the actual website, so there's a question. How long does a coating of this stuff last? Maybe for the lifetime of the item, or maybe one has to "re-coat" now and then. And then, of course, there's cost. If this costs a lot, it might cost a lot to cover a car as compared to a hammer or a pair of boots. The carwash still might be the more economical option.
