Couldn't agree more about Heroes. What is it about tv series where they plan 4 series worth from the start. - Lost just strarted to drag on and piss me off.

Heroes is past it now

First series was great..... I recorded the second series but never got past the first episode, so I'm not watching the third series until I have a chance to catch up.

Lost was only ever supposed to be 1 season but ABC got greedy and decided to stretch it out to get more money. I'm bored of it now i could quite honestly just watch the last ever episode and be happy.

the writers strike kind of saved heroes actually. the writers tried the new direction in series 2, and due to the writers strike only managed to make half a series. if the writers strike hadn't happened ratings would have continued to fall through a full season and it would have been cancelled.

Sorry to butt in on the conversation but i do agree the second season wasn't as good as it can be but this third season looks amazing, the first two episodes are great and are a sign that the writers have god their act together a bit

Agreed - the 2nd series would have been even duller without the writers' strike. At least I only have half a series to wade through before I can start watching series 3, which does seem to be a big improvement.

I'm a big fan of house, and glad that it picked up its performance in the latest season, and then a few American comedies

yeh and the big guy never did lose weight despite being on near starvation rations on an island!!

I really wasn't that impressed with the first 2 episodes the storylines seemed a bit cliched and predictable. Still haven't bothered watching 3 and 4 yet.

Gotta agree i love house so much i'm always really hooked on bones and my friend just managed to get me into how i met your mother

That always irritates me as well there is no way he wouldn't have not lost any weight at all.
