Well yes, but I prefer to just be myself when I play, I find it difficult to roleplay in terms of being someone else. Situational roleplay is fine, i.e. still being myself but playing out a certain scenario, but I can't play someone I'm not.

I think the guys are thinking of it as the roleplay being playing a character, rather than just yourself..

my roleplay involves me being me, just playing at what I like I agree with you BC, I couldn't play someone I'm not, convincingly. Nor enjoy it, and what's the point of that?? None!

Roleplay is online play but online play doesn't have to involve roleplay..... i.e. you can play without assuming roles or situations.... I'm talking basic vanilla cybersex really.

For me roleplay involves acting out a situation which may also involve you playing a part that isn't how you would normally behave in real life. I'm fine with the situational stuff but I can't do the person stuff - which basically means I would only ever roleplay within situations that I could imagine myself in in real life.

cyber is when you are both chatting on msn or whatever as urselves, saying what you are doing to yourself, what you want to do to the other person and telling the other person how to touch themselves

MSN, just read your plotline and seems not too unusual a sort of idea to me, of its type - can't see why some of the peeps who like that sort of scenario wouldn't play? I agree it's been done before, but that doesn't mean your version couldn't be fun too! After all, it's sex, we've only got a certain number of sexes and orifices, so pretty much nothing is *new*

Be 'Field of Dreams'... if you write it, they will come....
