Morning all, had a rude awakening, and not the pleasant type.

Blinds for the estate hall were dropped off here at what felt like silly o'clock. Not a problem except that they're bundled together, the box is 2m long, heavy, and the hall is back down the steps and 400 yards away (with two anti-bike barriers blocking the most direct route).

Meanwhile, there is nowhere in the flat to prop them without blocking one doorway or another. There might or might not be somebody around this evening to help lug them the rest of the way.

From here, the week gets better - pretty please with sugar on it!

You'll be getting a similar experience to the Queen when visiting places to open etc - each one freshly decorated.

Morning Penuche, sending 'recovery from rude awakening' hugs :rose:

Morning OxfordDon, you sound so organised, decorating in our house is usually total mayhem!!
