haha - I am not a sucker for hype but I am a sucker for change and foods I haven't tried before or combinations that you wouldn't find anywhere else. I don't mind paying a bit more to eat the most delicious sourdough pizza ever - served with pink lemonade :D

I LOVE sourdough pizza! Coincidentally, that's what I had for tea tonight with my salad. It didn't taste the same though - maybe I'm missing the pink lemonade - or the fries with the skins still on.

Hmmm :D

Oh sure, there's a difference between paying more for unique or quality. But paying more because their menu is in French? no. A pub roast is a pub roast. Simple:rolleyes:

Was it Beetroot? Oh yeah... Silly me. Looked like flowers though ;)

And yes, I actually am pretty high at the moment. I'm just waiting for my imaginary friend to appear and I'll have a chat with him.

Aw babe - just make sure you don't do anything silly, like try to sell your mum on Ebay - again.

And don't let him talk you into buying that Merc - you cannot afford it. I aint bailing you out this time.

A Merc?! Don't say foul things in front of me! I'm quite happy in my sixteen year old Focus that requires a good kicking to make it start on occasions. :D

I don't really like pizza, would never normally choose it either at home or out at a restaurant but one taste? mmm, I was hooked ;) It is sourdough every time from now on!

True - I have had some real pretentious pub roasts before. As far as I am concerned - I don't think ive found any place that can better a Toby carvery :D

We used to make sourdough pizza on a sunday night. Movie night. Huuuuge oven tray pizza and there were two rules, you had to bring at least one topping and some cheese :D and the topping wasnt allowed to be anchovies

Agreed - it was delicious and I try to make sure they're sourdough bases now. The ones with that kind of base are usually premium pizzas too, so you get some good toppings.

Bloody hell - she is still alive??? I thought she was dying a few weeks back!!

Exactly, its not hard. Its nice and simple, you roast a section of pig, chop it up and serve it with veggies. No need to fuck about with it

I love home-made, I have a special clay tray thing (Jamie oliver's no less) to bake them on - but shamed to say only make them about 5 times a year. I should maybe try making my own sourdough one!

I think I would be happy with just 2/3 cheese topping rather than piling on toppings but agreed - no anchovies *vomit*

I prefer beef tbh. But yeah. And don't forget the Yorkshires and roasties.

We had a MAAASSIVE oven huge, with an oven tray to match. Most peeps brought two toppings. the dough isnt hard to make either really :) and you can make the pizza and the sauce exactly the way you like them. Ours was usually split in two, normal sauce one side, spicy on the other :)

She's still going. Granted, she might need a bit of CPR at times but she blew off an Beemer the other day and not in a good way! :D

LOL. Oh bless her. I do worry that one day you are gunna be stranded on the motorway though!

Ah it's alright. All I need to do is kick the fuel tank and Robert is your mother's brother. :)
Mind if I use you as a pillow to doze on?

The tray was three foot wide and two foot long and four inches deep. Specific enough for you? :D

Black enamel on top, white underneath. Took that damn oven about half an hour to reach temperature

Ok. true story - APPARENTLY - growing up, my dad convinced me and my big bro (we were aged 4 / 5 at the time) that one of the trees at the bottom of garden was a Yorkshire pudding tree. My mum insists that we fell for it. I do not remember this but I would argue that we were just trying to amuse a poor downtrodden mother.
On the other hand - I do recall stealing sugar cubes and big bro and I eating them under the slide in the garden :D

My mother once had my sister terrified of the toilet. tears down her cheeks terrified. Because of the Toilet Lobsters that were going to bite her

a Yorkshire pudding tree.

I want one!

Bloody brilliant though. :D

In Sheffield, there used to be these two big cooling towers at the side of the M1 and my Dad convinced me that Thunderbird 1 used to take-off from there when an emergency was declared. :p
