Nope. Am going to ignore weather chat. <sticks nose up in air and turns back>

Surely there MUST be something else more exciting to talk about on here? Like....

1. sex.
2. food.
3. tv / books.
4. sex.
5. holidays / travel.
6. natural talents.
7. one wish - what would you ask for.
8. sex.

No?

Sigh. The sky is greyish, the air is coolish, the outlook is that my life is unchanged by this. :D

No-one wants to talk sex with me. I think they're put off by my penchant for rubber and PVC products. Alas, I'm destined to just stick to weather talk on here.

Now, if I had one wish and I knew it'd be granted - I'd ask for my health. If I had that back to 100%, I'd be a happy guy... That or a threesome involving Scarlett Johansson!

Perhaps if you explained what's special about TV programmes depicting foreign holidays to far off lands where chefs prepare meals of pvc encrusted rubber, you'd get more takers. Now, what did I miss off Tallulah's list? Hmm...

Books?

What's special about them?

I don't think I'm nearly qualified enough to answer that question. :D

I'm going to be lazy tonight and grab an Indian. No, not Shilpa Shetty... Butter Chicken! Yum, yum!

I'd ask for Scarlett Johansson too - mmhmmm :D

1.G is away today, so nope.
2. Strangeview and I have been talking about barbecues elsewhere...barbecued pineapple especially...yum.
3. I'm reading a terrible free Ebook.. But I also have a really lovely proper book on the go, but I have put it down and cannot find it ( hence the Ebook)
4. G is still away.
5. Sigh, none
6. Hmm. I am a good hostess, and I am good at talking even when I feel shy, because I was taught that being shy is just another way of being self centred, so you should make other people comfortable and break awkward silences rather than be wrapped up in yourself....does that count?
7. I have health problems, I would choose to be healthy and have my body back  ( probably not in that order)
8. Yes please!

It's grey and rainy, but it's not cold, and all the things I planted at the weekend are being gently watered and not scorched...I am happy!

Haha, good evening Elle :D

- I cannot read ebooks/use a kindle - it offends the bookworm in me who still longs for the days of old when libraries smelled foisty and quiet meant quiet <sigh>

You have exceptional taste!

You see, I used to be like that. Now however, I cannot be without my Kindle. If I read a paperback now, it feels weird!

LOL - oh, erm... Wonky - please don't take this advice :p

(sheesh Friendly - you don't like overkill at all do you :D )

I love libraries ( who also lend ebooks) and real books. If I love an Ebook particularly I buy it hard copy . I also love second hand book shops. But our house struggles to accommodate the double stacked books we have...ebooks are a good way to read the non keepers, for reading on the go and free reading.

I must have about three metric tons of books in the attic. A few books that I adore, I've bought a digital copy.
Sorry (and to Wonky), but you know how cranky it gets without a nap! ;)

No need for apologises!

LOL - erm, now when people talk about naps - I know what I mean when I say "nap" - but I don't know if your "nap" is the same as my "nap" ;) :O

I have tried reading on an ipad and it just frustrates me. Yes- our house is similar. bookcases in every room, inc the landings, and double stacked etc. But. It is the way I must live.

I heard an author once say she would rather live in her shed than de-clutter her house of her books - I feel the same way :D
