My utility co have sorted their website enough to accept readings.

I hear that there are now huge Twitter storms and outages as customers tweet their meter readings though!

A smartphone makes reading the meters much easier - instead of getting a torch and moving junk aside, I just reach in with my phone and take a picture with flash, zoom in, and read the numbers. And it's saved for posterity.

Got both hail and snow here today, in between the fog and the brilliant sunshine, so need the heating!

South of London, in Sussex; hail, snow, and clear sky, all occurred multiple times occasionally accompanied by wind. Cold too.

We have a smart meter that works very well except for when the power goes out. They automatically took gas and electricity readings yesterday.
