Why?

Because at 8:30 am, I 'heard' loud rumbling in my head and what sounded like phantom thunder. My dog didn't react, the skies where clear, and my mind rumbled like it was hearing the future. After I proceeded to go work in the garden to try and deal with my feelings, I nearly fainted with sickness around 9:30, and came inside to find this out at lit.

Preminitions are real. I've had three significant ones in my life.

Well, Or this bastard was part of it.

Maybe they just felt coming, it as did I, but more severly and intense. I am not claiming shit, as I have really not been able to digest what I've experianced today, at all.

This was a big deal. A disturbance in the Force, so to speak.

Of course receptive people are going to feel the whole thing surmount in some manner.

I am sure that there are others here at lit that had something happen to them before hand, but they are uncomfortable about it, so maybe won't ever bring it up.

I have had premonitions before, but they usually come to me in very vivid dreams. I had some really really vivid dreams last night. The most vivid i have had in years. I really thought the dream was real and was quite shocked when i awoke and find myself in my bed tangled into an odd position. I might have dreamed some of this last night but I don't remember. I only remember a full vivid dream when I wake up from it naturaly. My roomate woke me up this morning yelling about what was going on, so I get ripped out of the dream. I can only remember what happend right before i woke up. It was about 10 minutes worth in dream time. Nothing to do with the attack happend in that part of the dream. It was all to do with school, and college band (something i have never done i only did HS band) it was happening slightly in the future since I was doing GTA work and i am only an undergrad now. It pisses me off that I can't remember my earlier dreams. There might have been something in them, but they are lost forever.

Oh, I can only say that I, too well, relate to this feeling about vivid dreams.

I don't remember my dreams.... EVER, unless they are these realistic and fucking warped dreams, that I can even feel my surroundings in. I won't go there, as some of my friends know that I am in ??? about it all, but the dream thing is a big deal if if manifests itself in RL.

I do have some premonitions while awake but they are almost always bad. The past few months they have all related to my gf too. They usually come as the flash of a series of images. Kind of like those flipbooks that kids have. Looks like jumpy animation. I get them everyonce in a while and it is freaky.

Lately they have been about the gf and bad things happening to her. As some of you probably know she is hearing imapired rather severly. The flashes are normally something happening to her that she can't avoid because she can't hear it coming. I already warned her of leaving to go on a trip at a certain time because of this. That was more of just a bad feeling though. Did not really get any images. The highway she was going to take had a massive accident with huge pile ups and traffic jams.

I wish i could have more control over this but whenever I try to focus on it or anything I always lose it.

If you read enough of the posts you will see a whole bunch of people saying they reported him. A couple of people even posted his IP and the general area he was most likely located in.

The friend that showed me this also reported him.

I belive his words were, "don't worry me and about 9238479827347 other people have already reported this to the FBI."

Rarely yes but not often. I have found that my brain actually works better with less sleep. Well at least the analytical part does. Something to do with my personality type working well under stress.

Claim: A 1554 Nostradamus prediction said World War III would begin with the fall of "two brothers," a reference to the destroyed World Trade Center towers.

The French physician and astrologer Nostradamus (1503-1566) penned numerous quatrains populated by obscure imagery that the credulous have ever after attempted to fit to the events of their times. These predictions can often ring somewhat true in that the images employed are so general they can be found in almost every event of import, but by the same token, the prophesies are never a dead-on fit because the wordings are far too general. Not that this stops anyone from believing in them; our society's need for mysticism runs far too deep to ever allow for that.

Those looking for the certainty of a Nostradamus prophesy come true have been known to sledge hammer the results to force a fit by inventing fanciful translations from the original French, bend over backwards to assert one named term is really another, and (as in this case) outright fabricate part or all of the prediction.

Nostradamus did not write the quatrain now being attributed to him. (One wonders how a guy who died in 1566 could have written an item identified as being penned in 1654 anyway.) It originated with a student at Brock University in Canada in the 1990s, appearing on a web page essay on Nostradamus. That particular quatrain was offered by the page's author, Neil Marshall, as a fabricated example to illustrate how easily an important-sounding prophecy can be crafted through the use of abstract imagery. He pointed out how the terms he used were so deliberately vague they could be interpreted to fit any number of cataclysmic events.

It appears someone mistook Marshall's illustrative example for an actual Nostradamus prophecy and, not content to let well enough alone, added "The third big war will begin when the big city is burning." A fabrication was thus further fabricated.

But that wasn't the end of it. More fakery was piled on in later versions that now included all of the text quoted in the Example section above but now concluded with:

"on the 11th day of the 9 month that...two metal birds would crash into two tall statues...in the new city... and the world will end soon after"

Similarly, another enhanced version incorporates the Example text into a more detailed prophecy:

And Nostradamus predicted this (who knows how long ago):
"In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror...
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city..."
"In the city of york there will be a great collapse,
2 twin brothers torn apart by chaos

Needless to say, these versions are as fake as the first was.
