Hi everyone!
I just submitted a story - and I'm now having second thoughts on the category I've chosen. Basically, it's set in an imaginary time, a medieval-type setting - about a fertility ritual. It's also a first-time, and an erotic coupling, - vanilla sex. There's no elves, wizards, vampires, or anything like that. I placed it in fantasy because, well, it's completely made up - lol. So, my question is, will the fantasy crowd be okay with this? Or should I edit to put it in another category once it's up?
Thanks!
Onna :)

If it's set in any place other than the modern world, then you're better off putting it in Sci-Fi&Fantasy ( or non-human/erotic horror if those apply better)

Period pieces can go over in other categories, but once you hit medieval, the readers seem to balk.

You don't have to have wizards and warriors to qualify for the fantasy cat :D The readership ( though small compared to most categories ) is pretty open minded.

Try contacting Laurel or one of the people who run this place, and they could problably fix that for you.
