Love the New Look, Just Can't Seem to Enjoy It
YES! So much so, that I couldn't even open this thread to reply. I'd say I succeeded in opening a thread about 5 out of 20 times. Very frustrating.
However, I LOVE the new set up. The subjects of individual posts, the new "ranks", how we can see who's active at the moment, oh, so many things. Looks great! We just have to solve this little access problem!
P.S. Can't even get my post up...7 tries and counting.

500 errors are like bacteria - forever mutating and coming back stronger.
I've discovered that grinding up your penicillin tablets into a fine powder and sprinkling it liberally over your keyboard, modem and VDU doesn't seem to help in any way whatsoever.
The new look really is excellent, though. I love the way you can click on whichever page of a strand you want and title your replies.

Cut some slack, kiddies!
Check the "Forget Sex - It's All About MySQL" thread. Manu's been up all night trying to work the kinks out of this thing, and I think it's finally smooth... This board doesn't just look different - it actually runs on a totally different engine. It's based on a MySQL database/PHP combo which will (not to give away too too much) enable us in the semi-near future to combine the Member Profile on Literotica with the BB profile. In other words, you'll have one name & profile for nearly everything on the site. There's more to come, too, so stick around... Right now, Manu and I are gonna go answer email and get something to eat.

Nice to see you were able to dump the "Madam" title for yourself, Manu. That right there should be enough for ya to make all the headaches from this worthwhile.

I got a few of those errors this morning but now it seems to be working like a well oiled, smooth running, precision machine.
I really like the new look and functionality, especially the review post. Now if Laurel can only incorporate a spell check feature. Oh, the ingrates who want it all!

Hey it all looks great to me. I didn't have any trouble getting on and it loaded up fast. Fonts look fine.
Have you changed the rules and I didn't notice?
I haven't been on for a day or so but didn't pay much attention to the rules then. I never liked rules, always thought they made to keep you busy trying to find ways around them.
Got to go and check out all the new stuff now.

About the order of the posts. I think it reverses on the reply part so that you can easily see the most recent post, which is the one you're most likely to be replying too. It can be changed, but thousands of mice died in the labs during years of testing to determine that this is, beyond any reasonable doubt, the best system. Any modifications to the system would certainly have to be approved by PETA. Let me know.
Rosebud and Lasher - I just wanted to mention you both together for some reason. It seemed funny at the time.

Hey Manu it may just be that I got back quick but the rules still read the same.
You should get a big reward for all the hard work (see Laurel about that).

Great new look and features
The new features make cruising the BB much easier. One problem I have noticed is that if I search for a post for a specific username I get results that don't appear to have any posts by that member.
