Ugh! I need a job

Depending on your major, check with the different department heads at your college. For example, if you're some sort of computer major, they may need some computer stuff done.

Just a thought.

Sadly, I agree with PeachyKeen.
Take anything right now just to tide you over.
Jobs are scarce esp. in research. Be glad you're out of CC debt.
It's always good to have something than nothing.

You can make a lot of cash waiting the tables, I'm not lying.

Hi there, sweet thing...

Hey CB - haven't seen you around in a while.

Besides the poly-sci positions, you might also want to check out positions with non-profit orgs, even at low pay this would get your foot in the door. You might also want to check out working in anything even remotely related to your major just to keep your major relevant to your work.

Welcome to the world of the unemployed.

PH's semi-facetious suggestion might be considered a research project for Women's studies. Who knows, you might gather enough anecdotal evidence for a paper or something on how badly waitresses are treated by customers. ;)

Thanks RH-

Unfortunately, I'm a PoliSci/ Women's Studies double major, and there are more than enough grad students vying for jobs there. I just found out about our Institute for Public Policy and Social Research, I've already sent in my resume. It sucks cause I'm qualified for almost anything political-research or activism, it's the fucking hours that are hard to get.

Does this mean you'll have a hard time finding a job after graduation with that major, too?
