U.S. Census: American Community Survey

Were you required to answer them? Or was it just a case of someone thinking "hey, while we're at it..."

Why for the purposes of Article 1 Section 2 Paragraph 3, basically the census for the purpose of apportioning direct taxes and congressional districts, do I have to be put upon by my government with intrusive questions pertaining to bathing habits, home utility costs, fertility, marital history, work commute, mortgage, and health insurance. Where can I place my finger upon that article of law that supersedes the enumerated power cited above?

Stop whining, boy. It's unmanly.

Ah you said "enumerated" without a copy and paste! Well done. Now tell us again how you can get hiv by eating food prepared by someone with hiv.

It says I am under penalty of law. I will only supply pertinent information required for the apportionment of congressional districts like the Constitution says, and dare them to prosecute me.

List of people who care:

Yeah, collecting information to make for more efficient forward planning is obviously a commie plot. Fucking idiot.

Well whatDaYa expect; living in Obama’s socialist, fascist, communist, tyrannical, terrorist state?

Woof!

The easy solution, Vette, would be to blatantly refuse to answer, force them to prosecute you, so you can test the constitutionality of it. You're welcome.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and ask who cares. Trying to live exactly by a document that is several centuries old is like people trying to live exactly by the Bible. If wont't work and the chances of making everyone around one miserable is extremely high. Both should be seen as guidelines, but that's about it.

Couple of potential state slaves in the making. Take a look at the questions, they are intrusive. I see a number of things wrong with this survey.

I bet you are against your Dr. asking about your firearms too. :D:D:D

You aren't very smart are you. Here in America the government only has power enumerated in the Constitution. Here when government exceeds its authority, free men and women question its legal authority, as opposed to genuflecting like you folks do in accepting your fate.

Oh, do fuck off. You only give a shit about the constitution when you want to. When gays or some other group that you hate call for equal constitutional rights you throw it away faster than a live hand grenade.

Show me where I ever argued against the equal constitutional rights for gay folks. I'll wait.

Your whole argument against gay marriage is in direct opposition to the equal protection bit.

And while we're on it, as I understand it, the constitution sets out the things the government CAN'T do, not what it can. Which bit of the constitution says the feds can't collect information to aid with planning?
