I would like to float a rough outline of a story i'm developing before the Literotica hivemind.

Title: Sleeper Train to Cairo
Genre: The category for this is going to be either the dreaded "Loving Wives" or "Interracial".

Outline: Arwa al-Ghamdi, a married Arab/Muslim-American woman, is returning by sleeper train from a trip to southern Egypt, where she visited relatives and was sourcing local handicrafts for the import/export business she runs with her husband, who stayed at home holding down the shop etc. Also traveling on the same train is Dana Eldridge, who is a grad student in archaeology, returning from working on a dig. They both booked their tickets using American passports for a single birth on a sleeper train. However due to Dana's name being vaguely similar to an Arabic female name, a distracted rail employee spaced out and booked him as a female.

As you might guess, Dana and Arwa are assigned berths in the same sleeper car. They check the policy on the website to see if they should be gender separated as expected and notice a huge warning saying any error in gender results in loss of booking. This would mean Dana misses his flight. Arwa is extremely uncomfortable but can't bring herself to kick him, out and decides to just let him stay. She assumes staff will handle it but they do nothing due to a booked train and fear of confronting American passport holders.

The atmosphere of the train, the rocking motion, the fact that both are attractive to each other, and good conversation put both in the mood. They try to ignore it. They try to sleep. Their is a weird blue light in the room and other details that put Arwa in a sort of dream like state, she starts fantasizing about Dana thinking it will be harmless. Dana thinks Arwa is sound asleep and tries to masturbare so he can sleep also but ends up getting caught when a random noise wakes Arwa just as he starts to finish. She ends up helping him clean up (she has wipes and is worried at first about getting caught with him like that) and one thing leads to another, etc. The result will be a night of exploring each other and then parting forever.

Anything I should watch out for with this story? Did I put enough sand and gravel in the plot holes? I might not even explain how they got booked together, I like to minimize direct explanation.

Thank you.

I'm fascinated by the idea of people booking tickets for a single birth.

Title: Sleeper Train to Cairo

Having been on sleeper cars in 2 different countries, this would not work in either, so I don't know. In the one case, the sleeper was a 4-bunk, in the other the entire car was top bottom beds on either side. You are describing a 2-bed sleeper I guess? Fortunately, no one does sleeper cars anymore so no one else would wonder.

Also, isn't the train ride to Cairo relatively short?

Nothing that can't be overcome with a good story though.

The design of the compartment is based on the Moscow-Kiev sleeper train 2-berth compartment (just two beds side by side, which is indeed rare), which I've used instead of the actual design of the Egyptian train referenced in the story for a few reasons. The trip in the story is on the tourist-only sleeper train from Aswan to Cairo, about 10 hours if I recall, which can still be fully booked at times. Arwa is a recently naturalized US citizen, so she's able and eager to book on this train.

Thank you. I could mention that the train is a newly imported model from Russia I suppose, but as you mention the chance a reader will have encyclopedic knowledge of sleeper car design and take offense is a bit low. :)
