Typical review time?

Not that I'm impatient or anything, but for a novella (~50,000 words) what's a typical time between submit and reject or accept? I know it's holidays. Should I expect a week?

Is an email sent to my stated address, or do I have to check back at this site for the result?

Normally three to five days. My submissions are currently posting in four days, although they normally post in three. So, that's probably the holidays. The time is affected by the periodic contests too--contest stories get priority in posting.

No, you won't receive e-mailed notification. Posting will be registered on your author submission page--and the story will be listed on the "New" story page the day it posts.

I'm guessing Novellas just take longer. Either that or it's getting the reviewers so hot they don't finish it...

No, novellas don't take any longer. Seven days is too long currently, I think. You've left it alone, haven't you? You haven't tinkered with any buttons?
